Choosing the Perfect Wedding Shower Favors

Every bride deserves a wedding shower to remember. And every guest deserves to leave feeling happy and excited for the couple-to-be. One way to honor your guests for coming is with the wedding shower favors. These favors do not need to be elaborate or expensive, but just a little token of affection to recognize their attendance.
The best way to decide what your wedding shower favors will be is to decide what your theme and budget are for the party. Once you have decided how much you will be able to spend on each guests favor you can start to consider some options.
Favors can be as simple as a pack of flower seeds, candle votives, or chocolates. The key to making these favors special is the presentation. Include a label or tag with a cute poem signifying the relationship between the gift and the bride. Have the items packaged with pretty ribbons or bows, especially if you can match the colors of the party with your gifts.
For budgets that allow for a bit more elaborate gifts, consider a simple photo frame. This frame can also double as a name plate if the shower calls for seating charts. Another way to add personality to any gift is personalization. Consider a wine bottle stopper stamped with the couples name and wedding date, possibly a key chain or flower vase. Wine glass charm sets are also great ideas. For larger budgets, possibilities are endless. Items such as monogrammed beach bags or stationary are often well received.
Wedding shower favors do not need to be expensive or take a lot of your time to create. It's simply a way for the host to say "thank you for coming.” Find something that fits with the theme, color choices, and budget and go from there.
